The requirements to be able to produce the Crizal® family of lenses in-house are strict, and those high standards are also applied to the production of our house brand no glare lenses, Aura and Sharpview. The video below is very informative about the Crizal® No Glare process.

Crizal® sets the standard for glare reduction, water repellance, smudge and scratch resistance. Crizal® Prevencia®, deflects 20% of harmful Blue-Violet light and can be added to lenses with the new Smart Blue Filter for even more blue light reduction.
Crizal® lenses have an E-SPF® value of 25 — for 25 times more UV protection than going without eyewear. E-SPF® is a global index rating the overall UV protection of a lens. E-SPF® was developed by Essilor International and endorsed by third-party experts. A lens rating of E-SPF®25 means that an eye protected by the lens will receive 25 times less UV exposure than an unprotected eye.
